Thank you for finding my "home" on the World Wide Web. The purpose of this site is to introduce you to my music and my instrument. I've been playing the Steelpan for eighteen, years and doing so "professionally" since age twelve. I've been performing as a Jazz artist for more than ten years and it is my belief that, despite its novelty and immediate allusion to "Cruise" or "Carnival Music", the Steelpan should be considered a legitimate instrument unto itself, acceptable and embraced in any musical genre. I am confident that this can be done without loosing sight of the rich cultural heritage that spawned the instrument on the Island of Trinidad over 75 years ago.
