Music

I remember, one day in 1993, "discovering" my father's record collection.  Hugh Masekela, Spyra Gyra, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Herb Alpert, Cannonball Adderly, and Chuck Mangone became just a few favorites of mine.  This was, of course, in addition to the calypso and reggae that I grew up listening to and the classical music that I was performing on piano.  It is evident in my playing and writing that my approach to the Steelpan has been influenced tremendously by these artists and musical genres.  Below you will find several samples of music I have performed, recorded, arranged or written.

Studio Recordings
Chameleon - from Dwayne Dolphins MING
Ventana - from Ken Karsh's Ventana
The Girl From Ipanema - from my record Smooth Steel
